I was shocked to realise that I have not updated this page for so long. As you might have noticed we have developed a Facebook page this year and this is taking quite a bit of energy. If you haven't already done so, click on the button on the front page and become a friend.

We have some recent very terrific news. At the Gala Dinner for the Inland Tourism Awards held in Temora on 24^th July 2010 we were announced as the Tourist Attraction of the year. What a fabulous validation for our win in 2007. Shows it was not just a "flash in the pan".

Where have the last three months gone?

Well here we are already in April.

Easter has passed and I've not posted anything here for so long.

So here are some highlights from the last three months.

We arrived in Lightning Ridge at the end of February
Spent nearly ten days getting everything ready
Greeted our first visitors on 9th March
Attended theOutback Tourism Symposiumin Wentworth on 23rd & 24th March
Attended the launch of theDarling River Runat Menindee on 25th March
Enjoyed theGoat Racesat one of the busiestEaster Festivalsin Lightning Ridge

Finally it is starting to get cool and theblanket is getting used at night.

Don't forget there are lots of good things to see and do in Lightning Ridge, so comeon up
